This Refund Policy sets out how fees, cancellations and refunds are handled for consulting services provided by Vermeer & Ashford Consulting Ltd. It should be read alongside your signed engagement agreement, which always takes precedence for a specific mandate.
1. Fixed-scope engagements
For fixed-fee work (such as an Advisory Sprint or Strategy Engagement), fees and deliverables are agreed in writing before we begin. If you cancel before work starts, any deposit paid is refundable less any costs already reasonably incurred.
2. Work already performed
Once an engagement is under way, fees for work already completed and for deliverables already provided are non-refundable, as that work cannot be returned. Where a project is ended early, we will fairly account for work done to date.
3. Retained engagements
Monthly retained services may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Fees for the current notice period remain payable; no further charges apply after the notice period ends. Retainer fees already paid for time served are non-refundable.
4. Service concerns
If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, contact us promptly and we will work in good faith to put it right — for example by revising or re-performing the relevant work within the agreed scope. We believe most concerns are best resolved through dialogue.

To raise a refund or billing question, email [email protected] with your engagement reference. We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer or commercial law.
